Renewal and Expiry
What is available now
Cloud phone purchase and renewal checkout are not open yet. A Renew entry does not mean payment can be completed. Any displayed periods or prices are information returned for that device. Before expiry, contact the team that arranged your device to confirm availability, the new expiry date and cost.
A free account does not mean a permanently free device. A trial deadline is not a paid subscription term. After an extension is confirmed, check the device deadline again; do not assume renewal succeeded without a confirmed result.
Check the deadline
In My cloud phones, use the table view to check Expires, or select Expiring soon. The current filter includes devices with known remaining time of no more than three days.
- A known date: plan continued access and back up important data in advance.
- An empty, unknown or unavailable date: this does not mean unlimited access; confirm the term.
- A failed read: refresh first. A query failure does not establish expiry.

Are expiry reminders emailed?
Do not rely on email for device expiry reminders. The open platform defines a device.expiring webhook event with three-day and one-day warning thresholds. It is not an ordinary account email notification.
Delivery also requires readable expiry data, an active expiry scanner, a valid webhook configuration and a reachable receiver. Track deadlines yourself unless receipt is configured and verified. The existence of an event in code does not guarantee a reminder for your device. See API Overview.
Understand device states

| Status check failed / Not reported | This read did not establish the current state; refresh and check before concluding that the phone is running or deleted |
| Recently released | The assignment or lifecycle changed; a retained record does not guarantee that the device or data can be recovered |
Shutdown, release and retention rules can vary by device. This page does not promise a seven-day recovery period. Back up important data during the valid term. Resetting a phone, ordering another device or paying again is not a recovery method.
What to provide when requesting confirmation
Include the device name or ID, displayed deadline, desired extension and any relevant order reference. Hide contact details, proxy credentials and private app content in screenshots. Never send passwords, codes or reset links.
